        An Italian design firm built this sleek airport about a decade ago, although it is some distance from the city of Mandalay.

        The so called "Int'l" has only int'l flights to Kunming and Bangkok. A shared taxi from/to downtown costs 4,000Kyats/person (USD4) and will take about 1 hr. Wifi not available here.

        As of 4/17 a shared taxi to Mandalay is now 6000. If you are a group of 3, get a private taxi for 12000.

        A pretty basic airport. Note that international departures have you going through a security checkpoint prior to check-in. Some guards may hassle you if you don't already have a boarding pass.

        After your luggage comes, hurry up outside to take a shared taxi. 4000/person and takes you to your hotel. Private one costs only 12000 though.

        You can take Diamond Taxi to get to the airport from Mandalay city. It costs 12000 kyat.

        โอ้วสนามบินใหญ่โตเหมือนกัน มี free wifi แต่เฉพาะด้านนอกก่อนเช็คอิน พอเช็คอินเข้ามาแล้วรอที่เกตสัญญานอ่อนมากต่อไม่ติด ร้อน มีแอร์แต่ไม่ค่อยเย็น อากาศที่นี่ร้อนมากๆ
